Look, it's very easy: if you've ever wanted to go out on a Monday in Barcelona and you haven’t been to Nasty Mondays, you don’t know what it's like to go out on a Monday or what it's like to go out in Barcelona. You don’t know that the most hated day of the week is, in fact, the best for the party. Once you have rolled your last dice and when the absurd pressure of 'having to' go out at weekend has been dissipated, you can turn the Monday night into the only one in which the energy springs from spontaneous combustion.
Mad Max and Soren, the creators of Nasty Mondays, have known it since 2005. And here they continue, Monday through Monday, extending the weekend a few more hours for those who overcome the inertia and indulge in those sessions in which everything fits: rock, pop, indie, garage, electro rock ... There is only one thing that cannot be renounced: euphoria. They were the first ones, and they are the only ones that have survived to the passage of time. If nobody expects anything from Monday, isn’t it the best day to burn it all?
