AFERS: Cabiria + Anna and Vulkan

The sophisticated revival of disco-pop, nods to HI-NRG, hints of city pop and references to Italian melodic song are the ingredients of a cocktail called Cabiria, served between velvet walls and chequered surfaces.

Its creator, Eva Valero, made a name for herself with her 2021 album Ciudad de las dos lunas, followed by Nicomáquea in 2023, exercises in pop and synthetic brilliance in which she explores various soundscapes.

Anna and Vulkan 's show is supported by Liveurope, the first pan-European initiative supporting concert venues in their efforts to promote European emerging artists. Liveurope is co-founded by the Creative Europe programme of the European Union.

After turning heads on the indie scene with her EP ‘Andare, Tornare’ and the single ‘Farla Facile’, the Neapolitan artist, one of the most original voices of the new generation, presents an intimate and lucid song that captures the emotional complexity of an entire generation.

Her new single ‘Periodo particolare’ combines contemporary composition with minimalist and ethereal production. Ambient guitars intertwine with ethereal synthesizers and a soft but energetic rhythm, creating a suspended soundscape that balances tension and delicacy. The result is a stream of consciousness that invites listeners to enter a deep emotional space that is easy to identify with.
