AFERS: KYNE + MAR
AFERS Cycle with Kyne & Mar in Barcelona - 27th March 2026
This event is part of the new Afers concert series, a meeting of worlds between a local artist and a European artist that takes place at La CINC in an intimate, intimate setting. This initiative brings together two artistic proposals that share a musical genre in one event, one Friday a month, with the aim of discovering emerging talent on the current music scene.
In April 2025, she releases CERTIFIED FREAK, her second studio album — a story of love, humor, sensuality, and attitude featuring collaborations with Jovedry, Mir Nicolás, Mijita, LaBlackie, Faenna, Douglass, and Ergo Pro.
Her debut SAD & HORNY marked a turning point, taking her to stages such as Sónar Barcelona, La Mercè, and O’Marisquiño. Following the album, she released SAD & HORNY — CLUB EDITS, a remix project created specifically for the club environment.
Since her first mixtape INDIGO CHILD (2016), Kyne has built a solid artistic path with key collaborations, performances at major festivals, and standout tracks like STRIPPER, MANHOOD, and the mixtape EX TAPE, establishing herself as a defining figure in Spanish R&B.
Mar 's show is supported by Liveurope the first pan-European initiative supporting concert venues in their efforts to promote European emerging artists. Liveurope is co-founded by the Creative Europe programme of the European Union.
MAR is a singer, songwriter, and producer—an emerging voice who blends alternative pop, R&B, and neo‑hip‑hop with a distinctive sensitivity. After first gaining attention in 2017, she solidified a new creative chapter in 2023, taking full control of the production and composition of her Portuguese‑language project, defined by authenticity and a strong visual identity.
In 2024, she opened a more global cycle and, in 2026, released CUCA, her first solo album, entirely self‑produced. Born in Lisbon and raised between Portugal and Monte Carlo, MAR brings together influences that shape a contemporary, hybrid, and unique sound within the new Lusophone scene.
