Amenra

More than a band, Amenra are officiants of a post-metal liturgy. It is no coincidence that the Belgian band's first six albums were literally classified as ‘masses’. Then came De Doorn, which shattered the concept, although the ritual character that Amenra's compositions possess remains, they are litanies that cross a barren night and announce storms that, invariably, end up delivering on the stage with the steady hand of someone who is used to summon the Apocalypse. Their natural habitat is the fine line that separates us from the end of days.

It's time to take cover because the procession of darkness that always accompanies the band will reach us again next spring. Amenra will be performing on 11th May at Sala Apolo in what will be their return to Barcelona after Primavera Sound 2023.
