This Femnoise showcase proposes a progressive journey through BPMs, styles, textures, and forms, where emerging artists coexist with established creators, all woven together by a common narrative: evolution. There are no closed compartments or rigid hierarchies. Here, styles converse, collide, and mutate.
From restrained grooves to more intense pulses, the night unfolds as a moving story—a conscious transition that reflects who we are as a collective: a living ecosystem that changes, transforms, and opens space for sonic diversity.
This Apologia doesn’t defend a single genre; it defends coexistence. It defends curiosity, risk, and creative freedom. It defends the idea that all styles have a place and that music production is a territory we want to see increasingly inhabited by women and dissident voices.
More than a showcase, it’s a statement of identity.
An invitation to listen without prejudice.
An apology for change, for crossing paths, for transformation.
Femnoise, 8 years making noise in the national and international electronic scene.
Lineup:
Nancy Surinder, Andrea Zarco, Traca, Bonhomia
Nancy is a Barcelona-based DJ with a strong connection to house. A resident DJ at Diggin’, her sets explore different facets of the genre, from acidic and minimalist sounds to deep, groovy rhythms that keep the energy flowing. Her style blends strength and subtlety, with solid basslines and a natural progression that makes every set feel fresh and exciting. She plays with instinct and a clear personal touch. Each session is unique, but they all share one thing: a groove that connects, captivates, and creates a real bond with the dance floor.
Andrea Zarco is a Mexican DJ and producer based in Barcelona and one of the most prolific artists on Femnoise Records. Her sound, guided by the dance floor, fuses house, acid, techno, and hard groove, moving effortlessly between intensity and introspection. She is part of the Femnoise collective, where she promotes visibility and inclusion in electronic music, and has performed in key circuits of the European underground, including HÖR Berlin and clubs such as Razzmatazz, Sala Apolo, and Club Malasaña. As a producer, she is consolidating her own identity with releases like Alien Nation on Pérgola Recordings and Spaceship on Liquid Palms, as well as Dance and Nimona on Femnoise Records.
Bonhomia is a techno artist defined by perfectionism, passion, and a deep connection with the dance floor. She debuted in 2014 at El Cau in Tarragona and, since then, has toured various Spanish cities such as Reus, Tarragona, Granada, Formentera, Barcelona, and Madrid, collaborating with collectives like Sonotec, XXX, Structured, Tromba, and Femnoise, and performing at key stages of Barcelona’s underground scene such as Insert and Rezonanz—two techno spaces that left a significant mark on the scene. Her sound, raw and unadorned, is characterized by simplicity, power, and a hypnotic narrative that captivates the audience. With her return to Barcelona, Bonhomia begins a new chapter, aiming to keep conquering the scene with a solid, honest, and deeply club-oriented proposal.
DJ Traca is a lover of electronic music in all its breadth—a true music enthusiast and a regular on the most demanding dance floors of the local scene. Just a year ago, she decided to make the leap to the other side of the booth, and since then, she’s managed to win over even the most discerning clubbers. Her sound moves between dark, powerful techno and hard groove, with sets packed with energy, rhythm, and character. Influenced by icons like Andrés Campo, Vitalic, Pastis & Buenri, Umek, and Dave Clarke, she’s a standout graduate of the Beside school and is currently earning top marks on the main stages of the local underground. She’s a member of the Curtcircuit and Femnoise collectives—spaces where she unleashes her passion for music and her fascination with making us dance nonstop. She also has a loyal fan base that follows her wherever she plays, ensuring every performance pulses with high energy and great music, consolidating her as one of the most exciting emerging acts in Barcelona’s techno scene for 2026.
