Winners of a Latin Grammy in 2019, BaianaSystem brings their “Lundu Rock Show” to Europe for the first time — a performance inspired by their Afro-rock roots and born from the connection between their recent works, ready to tour Brazil and the world. Rooted in Afro-Bahian music and vibrant street culture, the new show reveals BaianaSystem in their most cathartic, folkloric and rock-driven form, while staying deeply connected to Brazilian popular music. Their live shows are widely regarded as some of the most powerful audiovisual performances in today’s Brazilian music scene.

With five albums released, international tours in Europe, USA, Japan and China, this Brazilian band has collaborated with artists such as Manu Chao, Gilberto Gil, Tropkillaz or Vandal among others. Originally from Salvador de Bahia, BaianaSystem mixes the reggae sound system with the Bahian guitar, creating a fusion of the Jamaican genre with Afro-Brazilian rhythms such as afoxé, ijexá and samba-reggae.
