Do you still see him dressed in a sixties style, proclaiming that he is just a “soulman”? It makes sense, considering how this great lover of African American music managed to make all of France vibrate, prolonging the timeless magic of Stax, Motown, and company. But that was over ten years ago. And although Ben will always be proud of that explosive beginning, he never tried to stick to the same formula. His passion for voices, melodies, and grooves that captivate and transport has guided his distinctive vocal style along his own path. 

His second album with the brilliant Californians of Monophonics, a bold tribute to Sinatra, and above all, his natural desire to expand his horizons have taken him far. Generously influenced by R&B, hip-hop, and jazz, Addicted To You, released in 2020, marks a new chapter also characterized by a more intimate songwriting approach. Now, it is time for him to take control over all aspects of his artistic production, and it will be on his own label, Enchanté, where he will write his next chapter.

Under its questioning title, Is It You? explores the theme of spirituality, driven not by the search for answers but by the desire to reexamine the magic of this life that connects us.
