PIRAT’S SOUND SISTEMA (Live), is a music group from the Barcelona neighborhood of Sants. Born in 2002 as the first sound system in Catalan, a format originating from the Jamaican tradition of the late 60s and used by hip hop years later. Supported by two turntables, mixing table, good dancehall (evolved reggae rhythms) or reggae roots foundations, a selector (or DJ in hip hop culture) and the two singers (or MCs in hip culture hop), Soto and Pep.
