El Capullo de Jerez is one of the very few cantaores payos who have the gypsy audience going crazy. His real name is Miguel Flores Quiroz and he was born in 1954, although he did not publicly establish himself as a leading figure until a few years ago.

His mastery of flamenco singing is not limited to the festive palos that have made him so popular, and in his concerts he always attests to this. He also possesses a stage presence that is unforgettable.
