Carmen y Maria present us the songs from their new work at EMPREMTES 2024, a duo that is characterized by the fusion of two voices and also by the mix of flamenco rhythmic and the weight of modern and urban music.
They are creators of the “grooviquete” concept, the union between “Groove” and “soniquete”, the pillar of their sound discourse.
From Mallorca and Barcelona, Andalusian and Galician, from the neighborhood in the city they claim the culture of the “sisterhood”, a culture that, unlike the “bro” culture, has been made invisible. Mix and community are two concepts inherent to his way of interpreting and showing himself to the public.
