Founded in 1994 by brothers Gabriel and Fernando Ruiz in Buenos Aires, Catupecu Machu, currently formed by the latter, Abril Sosa, Julián Gondell and Charlie Noguera, has become over the years one of the best known and most representative of Argentine rock.
With almost 30 years of career behind them, they have released 7 studio albums, several live albums and some audiovisual editions, including 3 platinum albums and 4 gold albums.
Their awards include two Gardel awards, an MTV award for best video clip, a Clarín Music Award and two Rolling Stone awards, as well as three Latin Grammy nominations. This May, they will make their first tour of Europe and once it is over, the band plans to stay in Europe to record their next album.
