Eduarda Bittencourt Simões, better known as Duda Beat (after the manguebeat countercultural movement, which has combined funk, hip hop, rock, electronics and maracatu since the 90s), is one of the last great values of Brazilian music.
She won the APCA award – one of the main recognitions of Brazilian culture – in 2018 thanks to his first album, "Sinto Muito" (2018), and with the most recent "Te Amo Lá Fora" (2021) she has confirmed everything he pointed out in that one: effervescent sounds that invite you to dance, with one foot in the musical styles of Pernambuco (she is from Recife) and the other in those of the westernmost part of the country.
