A double date with two of the most powerful emerging local indie bands: El Buen Hijo and Menta. Both bands will be at this winter concert to present their new works.
El Buen Hijo is a pop band formed in 2016 in Madrid. After three EPs and a full-length album, in 2022 they returned with the EP "Pasatiempo".
One of the freshest bands of their generation with energetic works that vibrate to the rhythm of powerful drums, distorted guitars, incredible lyrics, vibrant choruses and sound textures that achieve the brightness of the most current pop.
Menta
Menta is a quintet from Madrid that released their first album, "Un Momento Extraño", in 2022. Noise and melodic aim in songs that speak to you face to face; that's how we could situate a listener who has never heard them before.
Such a recognisable sound is the merit of Nico Rubio and Rodrigo Godoy (guitars), Lucas Sierra (bass) and Pedro del Pozo (drums), luxury squires for an overwhelming voice and personality, that of Cristina Mejías.
