El Zar, formed in Buenos Aires in 2016 by Facundo Castaño Montoya (vocals) and Pablo Giménez (guitar), is now one of the jewels of Latin American rock/pop. With a fresh and emotive sound, rooted in the tradition of Argentine rock, they have won over audiences both at home and abroad. Their album Pura Casualidad catapulted them to fame with the hit La Declaración, and they have not stopped growing since. In 2023, they filled the Gran Rex and Obras venues, and in 2024, they shone at festivals such as Lollapalooza and Cosquín Rock. For 2025, they are preparing a new album, an international tour and a historic show at GEBA.
