Empremta Solidària in Barcelona - 12th January 2024
The opening concert of this EMPREMTES 2024 edition again will be solidarity. This time, all the benefits of the concert will go to Casa Terra, a non-profit organization that supports projects for global justice through responsible cooperation.
Among the various projects, since 2019, they have been working together with Nepalese activist Indira Ranamagar, who is monitoring the rights of children and prisoners in her country. Indira has rescued more than 2000 children from prisons and is now fighting to create a Prisoner's Act and a Minor's Law that will guarantee fundamental rights to all those people who live abandoned by Nepalese institutions and by the international community.
With the aim of ending the presence of innocent children in prisons in Nepal and throughout the world, we will put the benefits of this solidarity concerto into the essential work of the Nepalese activist Indira Ranamagar and his organisation Prisoners Assistance Nepal.
With the artists Júlia Blum, Kuu, Roger Padrós, Raquel Lúa, Grabu, Ferran Exceso, Paula Valls, Magalí Sare, Classe B and Xavi Fornaguera.
