Fem(me) futur in Barcelona - 4th march 2020
On March 4, the new scene of the soul sisters will take center stage on March 2. Under the name of Fem (me) futur, three projects will be presented, led by young girls and the link of which is the love for soul music, although revising it from very different points of view.
Esmeralda Colette
Emeralda Colette will start. The one who was a singer of Pelogruesoul has performed in some of the most important black music festivals in Catalonia such as the Voll-Damm Jazz, the Blackcelona or the Black Music Festival, in addition to having stepped on many mythical Barcelona bars and even the TV show "La Voz". Labra presents a first EP under its own name as a brand.
La Reina
La Reina will continue, a collective project led by Marta Cervera (keyboardist) and Lia Kali (22-year-old singer, who also participated in "La Voz"). Present a classic formation with a strong soul-funk base but with reggae and even mestizo reminiscences. The Queen publish their first single on February 21 which will be followed by another singles and an EP before the summer.
Aiala
Aiala is a project by Jara Aiala, which last year published her first album and at the age of 22 drew the attention of the media feels nominated for best black music album by the specialized magazine Link Funk and entering the lists of the best records of the year to Mondo Sonoro and Enderrock with her r'n'b with electronic connotations.
Caníbal is every Wednesday's revolution. Since its origins, more than 10 years ago in this same house, it has championed all the fugitive music patterns. A showcase for the new trends that are moving in the streets of our city, Barcelona.
