Farru presents "Entre Amigos"

On 31 October, Sala Apolo will once again welcome Farru for a very special evening: “Entre Amigos”.

Farru dances from the heart, with that rhythm that cannot be learnt, but is something you’re born with. His style isn’t about artifice; it’s about authenticity, about being present and sharing.

And that is precisely what “Entre Amigos” is: an open gathering, with guest artists to be announced shortly, where singing, guitar playing and dancing come together without a script, just as they do on the nights that truly matter.

A night to experience flamenco up close, with joy, with intensity and with that feeling that anything can happen. A genuine flamenco celebration.

Antonio Fernández Montoya, known as Farru, is a member of the Farruco dynasty: grandson of the legendary Farruco, son of La Farruca, and brother of Farruquito and El Carpeta. Raised in a family that has set the standard

for flamenco, he began his training as a child, with the stage forming part of his daily life.

He made his debut when he was barely a child and has been performing on stages all over the world ever since. He accompanied Paco de Lucía on his final international tours for several years, forming part of his ensemble in over a hundred concerts, an experience that has profoundly shaped his understanding of flamenco.

Throughout his career, he has also shared the stage with leading figures and has been part of family shows such as Raíces Flamencas, Alma Vieja and Por Derecho, as well as developing his own projects and international tours.

His career has also led him to cross paths with artists of global renown, participating in performances where flamenco engages with other art forms, and even taking part in productions that toured alongside names such as Beyoncé, Björk and Marc Anthony.
