Gera MX, the stage name of Gerardo Daniel Torres Montante, is one of the most representative voices of contemporary Mexican rap. Born in Monterrey in 1994 and raised in San Luis Potosí, his life has been marked by personal challenges that he has transformed into lyrics full of authenticity and emotion.

From his beginnings in the underground scene, Gera has evolved into a multifaceted artist, standing out not only for his introspective lyrics but also for his entrepreneurial vision. As the founder of the independent label Rich Vagos, he has played a key role in promoting new talent within Latin hip-hop.

His leap to international recognition came in 2021 with "Botella Tras Botella", a collaboration with Christian Nodalthat blends rap with regional Mexican music. This track made history by becoming the first regional Mexican song to enter the Billboard Hot 100, reaching position 60, and debuting at number 9 on the Billboard Global 200.

In 2024, Gera MX surprised fans by releasing "Rich Mafia Vol. 1" alongside rapper Alemán, marking the end of an eight-year rivalry between the two. This project features a special appearance by C. Tangana, who returned to music after a break, contributing a fusion of styles that has been well received by critics and audiences alike.

His first visit to Spain represents a milestone in the expansion of Mexican rap, offering Spanish audiences the chance to experience live the evolution of a genre that transcends borders and connects cultures.
