Jesse Baez

Born in Chicago and raised in Guatemala, Jesse Baez's musical journey has been marked by a fusion of influences, storytelling, and a constant search for innovative sounds. Considered one of the first performers of contemporary R&B in Spanish, today he stands as one of the genre's greatest exponents. His first solo concert in 2016 was at the renowned Ceremonia festival. Following this success, he continued to perform at major festivals in both America and Spain, including Lollapalooza Chicago and Argentina, Sónar, Estéreo Picnic and Coca Cola Flow Fest.

His album, Amor en Español, released in April 2022, caught the attention of the international music scene and, following the success of the singles Hablas, No Sé Vivir and Pienso En Vos, the composer returned with his eagerly awaited second album, HENRY, which was released in November 2024. Throughout his career, he has collaborated with artists such as LATIN MAFIA, Alvaro Diaz, Alemán, C. Tangana, Dillon Francis, and Ximena Sariñana.

Now, Jesse Baez will embark on his first Spanish tour, performing at venues such as Sala BUT in Madrid on 29 October and La (2) de Apolo in Barcelona on 30 October. On both dates, he will be accompanied by YOSHI as a guest artist, who will bring a diverse range of styles to the stage, including R&B, bossa nova and drum and bass.
