Kerala Dust

The British band Kerala Dust took its first steps in 2016, initially as a solo project by producer and composer Edmund Kenny, who, under the alias Kerala Dust, began uploading tracks to SoundCloud. He made such an impact with them that he was soon signed by the German (Cologne-based) label Laut & Luise, where he released his first record, Late Sun (EP), in early 2017. With the aim of distinguishing his project from others in the electronic music field, Kenny brought pianist Harvey Grant and guitarist Lloyd Calderon-Polson into the group. Kerala Dust’s live performances are a constant conversation with their studio sounds. In them, the pieces are reinterpreted, linked, deconstructed, and reassembled.
