La Ludwig Band is a group from Espolla (Alt Empordà), that sounds like pedant folk, shepherd songs, and heptasyllabics that talk about life and stunning rhymes.
In 2021 they released a new album, titled "La mateixa sort" (The Indian Runners 2021), which won the Enderrock Award for Best Album of the Year and consolidated them as one of the most interesting emerging proposals of the time in Catalonia.
They now arrive at Sala Apolo to complete the tour of these two years, with a concert full of surprises and surrounded by special collaborations.
In 2018 they started to play together after a year rehearsing and perfecting the songs Quin Carandell accumulated from adolescence, and managed to record their first EP, "La Ludwig Band: el segon millor grup d'Espolla" (Autoed 2018).
Two years later, in the middle of a pandemic, they released the first long-running album titled "Al límit de la tonalitat" (The Indian Runners 2020).
An album conceived from the more classic pop-rock to the more local folk with delicately decorated arrangements. Eight Marta songs in Judas with direct influences from Pau Riba's rock song or ABBA's honey pop.
