Lyapis Trubetskoy, formed in Belarus in 1990, is one of the strangest bands of the post-soviet music scene. In 1998-1999 their songs could be heard on any major radio station, their videos were shown on every top TV channel.
Nowadays their songs "Belarus Freedom", "Don't be a beast", "Play" and "Warriors of the World" became national anthems of the struggle for freedom of Belarus and Ukraine!
