Matteo Mancuso

Matteo Mancuso, born in 1996 in the province of Palermo, is a musical prodigy guided from an early age by his father, Vincenzo Mancuso, a renowned guitarist and producer. At the age of 11 he was already participating in jazz festivals in Sicily. He studied classical guitar at a music high school and founded the trio Snips, gaining recognition for their fusion of classical standards.

In 2017, he earned a scholarship to Berklee College of Music after standing out at the Umbria Jazz Festival. With Snips, he performed at international events such as Musikmesse and Umbria Jazz. He collaborated with Yamaha Guitars and participated in NAMM 2019 in Los Angeles. In 2020, he formed a new trio and went on a successful tour of Italy.

In 2022, Matteo graduated with honors from the Palermo Conservatory and continued his career with a European tour. In 2023, he released his debut album “The Journey” and received praise from renowned musicians such as Steve Vai and Eric Johnson. His YouTube channel has more than 180,000 subscribers.

Matteo Macuso's show is supported by Liveurope, the first pan-European initiative supporting concert venues in their efforts to promote European emerging artists. Liveurope is co-founded by the Creative Europe programme of the European Union.
