Mercedes Cañas is one of the most promising singer-songwriters of the national scene. Guitar Bcn will host the presentation in Barcelona of her first album, "Que entran en mi cabeza".
She has been building her career independently by sharing her music through social media, first doing covers of other people's songs and now writing and performing her own.
The young Madrilenian is what is usually called a revelation artist. She not only gives voice to the melodies, but also imbues them with a special halo, a mystical essence of those who are destined to inspire emotions.
