Undisputed fathers of gothic metal, the English band Paradise Lost have spent more than three decades trying to achieve the difficult balance between keeping their essence alive and deforming it, giving rise to a constant reinvention of their musical identity.
This exploration has led them to create a number of masterpieces, unforgettable albums such as "Gothic" (1991) with which they broke new ground and laid the foundations for death doom, or "Draconian Times" (1995) which led to the conquest of ports never expunged for a band of its caliber.
