Seefeel are closely linked to the history of Warp Records, the influential British label on which they have been releasing their music since 1994. "They were the first band that Warp signed who had guitars. They took all the flak by breaking the unwritten rules of an (up to then) purely dance label", said Steve Beckett, co-founder of Warp, in an interview.
