Rufus T. Firefly, the band led by Víctor Cabezuelo and Julia Martín-Maestro, is already, despite the youth of its members, considered a cult band within the independent scene in our country.
Their energy and deeply sophisticated sound flees from the obvious and builds in each production and live performance an atmosphere of magic and rock with slips towards a neat and highly addictive psychedelia.
Their new album, "El largo mañana" (Lago Naranja Records, 2021), will be released on 26 November, and they have been presenting it live in venues and festivals all over the country before its release.
Guest artist: Reme
Recorded between Madrid and London at El Lado Izquierdo and Doghouse Studios, their first album "Reme" has been produced by Manuel Cabezalí and Víctor Cabezuelo, with Dany Richter and Iain Berryman as engineers.
A project that with their first singles not only looks back, but also looks to contemporaries such as Foxygen, The Lemon Twigs and the latest Arctic Monkeys.
