Russian Circles titled their album "Guidance" (Sargent House, 2016) as an amulet, because of the confusion inspired by the future. It was the ideal name for that time, since the work was published shortly before the fateful elections in the USA. If they had doubts about how to evolve inside the underground, the subsequent years of unstoppable tours enshrined them in their struggle. In their latest album "Blood Year" (Sargent House, 2019), they present a collection of sharper and categorical songs.
Torche
"When people ask me what kind of music we play, I just say, ‘Loud rock’n’roll'". This is an ideal way to describe Torche's new album, "Admission" (Relapse Records, 2019), a download of blunt riffs inspired by progressive rock.
