Sara Roy has had music on her mind since she was 12. In her songs, the themes of love and heartbreak combine with perseverance, self-improvement and the fight for dreams. In this sense, everything suggests that the dream of that 12-year-old girl is coming true: Sara Roy’s music is here to stay, and it has more followers every day.
Her latest album, (A)MAR, is full of affection for the people around her who have helped her to get where she is. It is also a tribute to the sea, which, like Sara Roy, is calm but crashes hard against the rocks. The album includes songs in Catalan and Spanish and collaborations like Tot és més fàcil, the long-awaited duet with Miki Núñez, as well as Desde la ventana, with Suu.
Sara Roy will be performing for the first time at Cruïlla de Tardor, on November 5th at La (2) de Apolo in Barcelona. Come and see her, as together we will create the perfect atmosphere for all the love and affection hidden in her lyrics to make sense.
