Concert of Scowl in Barcelona -21st May 2025
Some people think that punk is a fire that burns everything in its path. That's a lie. Truth is, it's more like rain (a downpour, if you prefer) that feeds the earth with voltage and attitude. That's how the flowers that Scowl cultivated flourished on their debut, "How Flowers Grow", when the band was already juggling rough hardcore howls with melodic smoothness.
That way of always letting an earworm find a crack to slip through their wall of noise and distortion has opened a path along which the band captained by Kat Moss is steadily advancing. That route now leads them to their second album, "Are We All Angels", which is set to establish them as new ambassadors of the genre.
