On the Catalan music scene, the "rap de la tierra", a movement led by Senyor Oca, stands out. The Barcelona artist, who combines drum&bass music with introspective verses, presented his album "EGA" just before the pandemic, which was acclaimed by press and public alike.
Now he brings us his new album "Portals", which will be released on 4 March. Letting himself be carried away by his feelings and emotions, he begins an introspective journey, which is reflected in this work.
In "Portals" he broadens the existing notions of electronic music by combining it with a wide spectrum of genres such as dub, rap, drum'n'bass and others. Senyor Oca opens each portal and discovers a different universe in each song.
