Tabanka Djaz, one of the most iconic bands from Guinea-Bissau and a pioneer in the evolution of modern gumbe, arrives in Barcelona for the very first time. With more than 30 years of career and a unique sound that blends traditional rhythms with afro-zouk, kizomba, semba and contemporary elements, their legacy transcends generations, with songs that are part of the collective memory and a live performance full of energy, celebration and cultural identity.
