Tarquim y Los Metales Preciosos

Tarquim, from the Arabic tarkim, is the mud deposited at the bottom by the waters that flood a land, rich in organic matter and used as fertilizer in agriculture. The study of different folkloric and popular traditions, such as the “tarquim”, serves to create new music, new present repertoires. After the success of "A Cuba" (2020), Tarquim presents his latest album entitled Tarquim y Los Metales Preciosos (2025) where genres such as son, timba or Latin jazz are found, all marked by excellent arrangements and an impeccable performance. An artist who collects years of experience and turns them into music.
