The Philharmonik

The Philarmonik is the personal project of musician, vocalist, and producer Christian Gates, born 32 years ago in Cleveland, Ohio, where he began taking piano lessons at the tender age of six, encouraged by his mother. 2024 was the year of his breakthrough, winning the award for Best Song at NPR’s Tiny Desk with “What’s It All Mean?”, taken from his second album, “Kironic” (2024). It was the definitive boost for the talent of a sharp musician who moves between the soul and R&B of his idols Kanye West, The Roots, Outkast, Lauryn Hill, Erykah Badu, Common, Michael Jackson, and Stevie Wonder, and the multi-genre versatility of Eric Clapton, Queen, Led Zeppelin, and The Beatles.
