The Sisters of Mercy is a British band born in Leeds, considered one of the most important bands and perhaps the most prominent of the second wave of gothic rock, born in the era of English post-punk.
The band has recorded three studio albums, “First and Last and Always” (1985), “Floodland” (1987) and “Vision Thing” (1990), the compilation “Some Girls Wander by Mistake” (1992) and a greatest hits, “A Slight Case of Overbombing” (1993).
