URBAN TALES OF DRAG ART
Urban Tales of Drag Art in Barcelona - 16 May, 2022
From the stage to the streets... and vice versa: fortunately, the journey of drag culture is already a continuous two-way street that is impossible to stop, in which activism is not at odds with the look of drag (quite the opposite, in fact).
All of this is reflected in Urban Tales of Drag Art, a unique show hosted by Choriza May and specially devised as a celebration of urban art as another possible way to channel the personality of each individual.
Adversaries but above all companions, Jeneva Gina, la Steah, Polly Span, Cota and Ácido Gorgona will take over La (2) de Apolo, which will be transformed for the occasion into a big city thanks to a powerful and careful work of projections and a specifically designed mise-en-scène.
Life on the streets, with its lights and shadows, takes the form of a political-pop story in Urban Tales of Drag Art on 16 May.
*Choriza May will host the show on her first visit to Barcelona after her mediatic stint on Drag Race UK S3 and Translocura will close the evening presenting their first album, "Declaración de Privilegios". Two shows in one to connect art and activism with the chance to meet Choriza May at a meet&greet.*

We regret to inform you that the Urban Tales of Drag Art event scheduled for May 16 at La (2) de Apolo in Barcelona has been cancelled due to last-minute unforeseen problems that prevent the show from being carried out as planned.
The amount of the tickets purchased will be automatically refunded over the next few days using the same payment method used.
