Wolf Alice band presents their third album "Blue Weekend" which includes the evocative single "The Last Man On Earth", which is killing it in every way.
Formed by Ellie Rowsell (vocals, guitar), Joff Oddie (guitar, vocals), Theo Ellis (bass) and Joel Amey (drums, vocals), they cemented their friendship and set to work on some demos, which became "Blue Weekend", an album produced by Markus Dravs (Arcade Fire, Björk, Brian Eno, Florence + The Machine), which has helped the band to refine their sound to an even sharper point.
Rowsell's personal narrative is the core of "Blue Weekend", an album in which Wolf Alice adopts a new audaciaty and vulnerability in equal measure.
It has been a decade since the band began as a duo of Ellie Rowsell and Joff Oddie, later expanding into a quartet.
Since then, the band saw their 2015 debut album, "My Love Is Cool", soar to number 2 in the UK charts, their second album, "Visions Of A Life", win the 2018 Hyundai Mercury Prize and a GRAMMY nomination for Best Rock Performance.
