In Ecuador, Chicha is more than a drink: it's Andean music with dance and the voice of the people. For 18 years Papaya Dada has been renewing the genre with anthems like Amapola, Zapatea, Aguacero, lyrics by Esteban Portugal that sing about love, mischief, and the people who never stop dancing.
Swing Original Monks
Ecuadorian band formed in 2010 with musicians from LatAm, Europe and the US. They blend traditional Latin American, Andean, tropical and urban rhythms with electronic music, rock and rap. Explosive live show with theater, lights and visuals that gets everyone dancing.

Zapatea Fest, originally scheduled for 16 July 2026 at La (2) de Apolo, has been moved to Sala Razz 2 on the same date and at the same time (7.00 pm) due to technical issues at Sala Apolo, which are entirely beyond the control of the promoter and the artists. Tickets already purchased are valid for the new venue. For further information, please contact the promoter, La fiesta del cumbión.
