Takhnis is a unique nightlife event celebrating Arab queer culture, bringing together people from the MENA region alongside their allies in a safe, energetic, and inclusive environment. Our events blend the aesthetics of Oriental cabaret with contemporary club culture, featuring nostalgic Arabic pop, shaabi, and mahraganat from the late 1990s and early 2000s, sounds that resonate deeply with the millennial audience within our community.

ASHTATTZ
ASHTATTZ is a multidisciplinary queer artist who blends SWANA heritage with global club culture. Their sets are intense and immersive, combining house, electro, and hypnotic percussion to create a unique experience.
Yazmina Gasolina
Yasmina Gasolina constructs a sonic engine of the queer diasporic underground. The Iranian, Spanish, British experimental electronic artist plays with the power of hybridity in cross cultural sound. A high energy and sensual blend of conceptual performance art, deconstructed pop & rave club music.
Daena.zem
Based in Barcelona, daena.zem is an emerging DJ blending global music with melodic percussion, and emotive grooves. Her sound is all about movement, atmosphere, and discovering new musical landscapes.
Tanios AK
Tanios AK is a Lebanese DJ based in Barcelona. His sets are an appreciation love letter to Arabic pop culture, mixing iconic Arab hits, forgotten gems, and dancefloor anthems from the '90s, 2000s and 2010s.
Salma Zahore
Salma Zahore is a queerture, a performer and artivist against injustice.
Her performances challenge traditional notions of gender and belief systems while proudly asserting her Lebanese and Arab identity, which deeply influences her work.
