This Friday, Astin will once again be taken over by CULPA, a queer collective focused on creating safe parties for trans and non-binary identities. Blending psychoactive techno, swampy psy-trance and alien acid, Endurance resident Peachlyfe, who has become a mainstay within Copenhagen's fast-growing techno scene, will be joined by transfeminine DJ, producer, and performer Berenice, co-founder and resident of CULPA, and up-and-coming Doppelganger, co-founder and resident of MUSA. Expect seductive yet aggressive techno sounds.
Born in 1993, in the dawn of electronics, through its cabin have passed names as relevant as Aphex Twin, Todd Terry, Carl Craig, Kenny Larkin, SBTRKT or Ellen Allien in addition to the local DJ Fra, Marc Piñol and DJ Kosmos. Its counterweight, B-side, reverse and its alternative is Astin, where every night is the same... but totally different.
