Concert of June Freedom in Barcelona - 5th February 2024
The Cape Verdean artist, June Freedom, whose real name is Pedro Fontes Veiga, has so far used his music to express himself either in English, Portuguese, Spanish or Kriolu, a minority Creole language of his native country, so it is impossible to pigeonhole him according to geographical coordinates.
And yet, his blend of funk, R&B and Afrobeats automatically appeals to anyone who listens to him, wherever they come from, because his is absolutely a universal language.
He will com to Spain to present "7 Seas", his recently released second album, proposing is a global party in the same line as Rema, Masego, YEИDRY, Aya Nakamura and Stromae.
