Renewing the European music scene
The Liveurope platform was born in 2014 to allow venues like Sala Apolo to take more risks in booking new European acts while helping artists to break beyond their national borders.
Despite the many challenges that lie ahead, we see the current pandemic as a resetting moment for the music sector and our societies as a whole. In the framework of the festival, we launched a statement to reaffirm our commitment to continue working closely together with our European partners to boost the circulation of Europe’s rich musical diversity and highlight the unique role venues can take in reviving the music ecosystem.
Conference for music professionals
The Liveurope Online Festival also includes a conference dedicated to music professionals which will take place in parallel to the concerts streams on 24 and 25 September. Through a series of 5 working sessions approaching different themes, we will look at what is needed to lay the foundations for a more desirable future for the music sector. You can learn more about the professional programme of the festival on Liveurope’s website.
