Orchestral Manoeuvers In The Dark (also known as OMD) was formed in 1978 by the teenage friends Andy McCluskey and Paul Humphreys.
Soon, it became a pioneer of electronic music thanks to a series of successful albums released during the 80s, titles such as "Orchestral Maneuvers In The Dark", "Organization", "Architecture & Morality" or "Dazzle Ships".
During these four decades we have seen, with some breaks in between, how Orchestral Maneuvers In The Dark has released 13 albums, sold more than 25 million singles and 15 million albums, establishing themselves as pioneers of synth pop and becoming one of the UK's most beloved bands.
Since their return 13 years ago, with three more albums behind them, they have culminated their work with “The Punishment Of Luxury” in 2017, which was acclaimed by fans and critics alike as a return to the character and brilliant sound of the first singles, classics like “Enola Gay” and “Souvenir”.
