Cruïlla Primavera: Roba Estesa

That women have been historically underrepresented in the Catalan music industry is an unquestionable fact. But that, fortunately, over the last decade there have been more and more women who have fought to carve out a niche for themselves and, above all, to preserve it for those to come in the future, also is.

Some did it from pop and others from urban, but Roba Estesa achieved it by embracing folk and its evolution towards electronica that will culminate in their new album to be released in early 2024 and that they will present at the next Cruïlla Primavera.

On March 21, 2024 this octet from Camp de Tarragona will arrive at the Sala Apolo to show us that “La nit és nostra”, put us “EL <3 A 1K” and make us celebrate that we always deserve “Una altra ronda”. After more than 10 years of career, Roba Estesa have become a reference not only in music but also in the defense of women’s rights and the LGTBIQ+ community.

Lately they have changed the accordion for the bases, but have kept intact their message and their desire to get it accompanied by party wherever they go.
