Backed by a lyrical prowess well beyond their teenage years, they brought a breath of fresh air to the West Coast beat.
The California quartet announced themselves with harmless confidence, in a more Tribe vibe with hints of jazz and groove rhythms but lyrically more adventurous. More Pharcyde-like, with infinitely cool rhymes and multi-syllabic puns, but more intellectual, energetic and ready to freestyle.
