Miroslav Perkovíć works on sculptural projects, defines himself in polymorphic model studies and implements new virtual technologies. Such is the recontextualisation of the sculptural project ‘Overlap’, the latest piece to arrive at Art Meets Apolo is located on the stairs that connect La (2) and Sala Apolo.
The work ‘Overlap’ is a digitalised sculpture by Misato Kindness in which its phenomenology indicates the origin of the work of art. The work simultaneously recognises contradictory levels, admitting the paradox of its format. Everything is either on one level or fragmented on another level, its origin lying in the perpetual ‘deconstruction’ or ‘destruktion’.
Art Meets Apolo is a multidisciplinary exhibition project that aims to unite clubbing and art through the eyes of different Barcelona artists. In the 2024 season, the project has incorporated the works of Milica Lukic, Alba Rihe and Sejal Parekh.
The proposal has been conceived and coordinated together with the LAB36 and Galeria Senda, bringing together two worlds and their respective artists, audiences, ways of working, knowledge and experiences with a clear and common benefit: local culture.
