Milica Luvik's digitalised artwork, “Interpolations,” by Misato Studio arrives at Art Meets Apolo

The Serbian artist based in Barcelona, Milica Lukic, works on sculptural projects using primary structures and specific objects that form geometric shapes. "Interpolations" is the digitalised artwork by Misato Studio that has just arrived at the Art Meets Apolo project, located on the stairs connecting La (3) and Sala Apolo.

"Interpolations" emerges from the minimalist essence of Lukic's sketch lines, which symbolise the seed of an idea in its purest and most essential form. Through a process of layering and evolution, the studio transforms and complexifies these initial lines, resulting in modular structures that evoke the aesthetics and spirit of Le Corbusier's sketches.

The work invites reflection on the genesis of form and space, and how human creativity can transcend simplicity to reach new dimensions of expression and functionality.

Art Meets Apolo is a multidisciplinary exhibition project with the aim of uniting clubbing and art through the lens of various Barcelona-based artists. The works of Pedro Torres, Mónica Rikić, and Jordi Gispert Pi have already been featured.

The proposal has been developed and coordinated alongside LAB36 gallery, a parallel project to Galería Senda, and the cultural agency Screen Projects (LOOP Barcelona), bringing together two worlds with their respective artists, audiences, ways of working, knowledge, and experiences, with a clear and common benefit: local culture.
