This event is part of the new Afers concert series, a meeting of worlds between a local artist and a European artist that takes place at La CINC in an intimate, intimate setting. This initiative brings together two artistic proposals that share a musical genre in one event, one Friday a month, with the aim of discovering emerging talent on the current music scene.
Her Silhouette is a musical project that moves between alternative R&B and the countless sonic references that have shaped the artist, with a clear focus on detail, space and atmosphere.
His music leans into clean structures, carefully crafted textures and a subtle elegance that avoids excess, building a recognizable and coherent sound from the very first listen.
After working behind the scenes on productions and arrangements for several national artists, he now commits to his own project, giving a face to the sound that so strongly defines the songs he’s involved in.
Julie Rains 's show is supported by Liveurope the first pan-European initiative supporting concert venues in their efforts to promote European emerging artists. Liveurope is co-founded by the Creative Europe programme of the European Union.
Julie Rains is a Belgian singer, songwriter, and multi‑instrumentalist who naturally blends soul, jazz, and electronic music. Based in Brussels, she stands out for her warm, versatile voice and a compositional sensitivity that moves between the organic and the experimental.
After first gaining recognition as part of the duo Juicy, Julie now embarks on a new solo chapter defined by a more intimate and expansive aesthetic. Her collaboration with Belgian producer Rowan Van Hoef (ECHT!, TUKAN) shapes a sonic universe where deep electronic atmospheres, delicate arrangements, and a contemporary, genre‑defying approach coexist.
The result is an ambitious and immersive project that showcases Julie Rains’ artistic evolution and her ability to create musical landscapes that are both personal and emotionally resonant.
