Although the three-decade anniversary of Nitsa Club has been spread over the whole year, the first weekend of December will be when Barcelona's most emblematic club will crown this anniversary in style: 30 Years of Nitsa Club Weekend will celebrate the deep-rooted mark that the long-standing club has left on several generations with an extended weekend of DJ sets and concerts at Apolo.
In a burst of electroclash nostalgia on Friday, Astin will be taken over by KITTIN, the French pioneer of this irreverent genre in which new wave and 90s techno collide, along with the live performance by the German duo Toktok and the Swedish singer Soffy O, creators of massive club anthems that straddle pop and techno. They will be joined by historic Nitsa residents Dj Fra and Dj Coco, on an opening day that will kick off with TWIN’s introspective invitation to dance and the synth-pop and post-punk halo of El Último Vecino.
