Three radical approaches to the booth converge in a single night in Astin.
Headlining the night is Skee Mask, a key figure on the Ilian Tape roster and the producer behind landmark albums like Compro. The Munich-based artist brings a selection fusing techno, breaks, ambient and the legacy of '90s UK dance culture.
Joining the lineup is veteran Dutch DJ and radio host DJ Marcelle. With three turntables in the booth and a collection of over 20,000 vinyl records, her sets unfold as unpredictable collages where cutting-edge techno, dub, African and Caribbean rhythms and punk collide.
Completing the night is Barcelona-based Argentine DJ Imox, whose sound ranges from deep techno and bass music to breaks and introspective atmospheres.
Born in 1993, in the dawn of electronics, through its cabin have passed names as relevant as Aphex Twin, Todd Terry, Carl Craig, Kenny Larkin, SBTRKT or Ellen Allien in addition to the local DJ Fra, Marc Piñol and DJ Kosmos. Its counterweight, B-side, reverse and its alternative is Astin, where every night is the same... but totally different.
